We made it on the night train to Paris, and have been having just a wonderful time! Paris truly is probably my most favorite city in the world.. for my money it just doesn't get much better. Lots of good food, lots of good wine (and lots of walking!).
We've pretty much seen all of the big stuff -- Today we went out to Versailles and walked around for most of the day. Still as amazing as I remember, though for some reason I forgot the CROWDS there. Really, we haven't had that many problems with crowds, which has been great.
Yesterday was the d'Orsay & Rodin museums, and some additional walking around. It was a BEAUTIFUL day. All in all, our weather has been great here, with the exception that it was a tad bit cold the first few days here. It has since warmed up though, and it's just perfect. We finished yesterday with a picnic at the Eiffel tower. My favorite.
The day before that, we went to the Lourve to check out Mona & Venus de Milo.
We've just tucked into an internet cafe for a second ... out of time now, sadly we'll be returning home tomorrow.
