Well, it's that time of year again. Some of you may remember that about this time last year, I
ran in the Omaha Marathon. You may also remember that I almost swore off running completely after that. Ha.
Well, not so much. This year I've decided to run another marathon, though it wasn't the Omaha one. Instead, next weekend I'll be running the
Minneapolis Marathon, which dubs itself as "
The most beautiful urban marathon in America". Anything has to be more beautiful than running through majestic North Omaha.
This past weekend, as a "warm up", I did, however, run the
half marathon here in Omaha. Marlina also ran the 10k! Funny thing was, on Saturday I ran 18 MILES, so the half was WAY more difficult than it should have been. Yeah, that was stupid. Finished in 2 hours, 1 minute. That's a 9:22 minute mile pace. Not
bad, but not the best.
I've
posted pictures over on my

For those interested in why I posted the pictures on Flickr and not on my photos site, I'm in the process of transitioning all of my photos to Flickr. They will be accessible here, but the physical files will not. Hopefully this will alieviate me needing multiple GIGS of disk space, not to mention the bandwidth. Stay tuned for an update.
